Nominate Your Favorite Vet for Mission: Thank You
I have always had a fond appreciation for the military and our vets, especially considering tht my father served in the Air Force, my Stepfather served in the Army, my older brother was a Marine and my first cousin served in the Navy. So I grew up surrounded by family members who committed their lives to our country. But it wasn’t until four years ago when I met #TheMarine, that I truly understood how much our soldiers do and give to our country. I remember seeing the old school Army commercials and their slogan was “We do more before 9 a.m. than most people do all day!” My thoughts were like “yeah right”, but truth be told…they do. Being active in the military is taxing on the mind, body, and soul. Our vets
I remember seeing the old school Army commercials and their slogan was “We do more before 9 a.m. than most people do all day!” My thoughts were like “yeah right”, but truth be told…they do. Being active in the military is taxing on the mind, body, and soul. Our servicemen and women give in ways that we as civilians can not even begin to comprehend. And for their dedication, sacrifice and commitment they deserve to be honored and rewarded.
For those reasons, I am happy to share MISSION: THANK YOU, an initiative started to thank our servicemen/women for their service. This summer Adam Sandoval is hitting the road with Harley-Davidson for a cross-country ride to honor those who have served and give away bikes to eight lucky vets.
Adam is an avid H-D rider, and he and his chihuahua Scooter have crossed the country in support of military vets. His ScootinAmerica initiative has raised awareness for several veterans organizations, and he’s honored to partner with H-D to bring relief to more riders. He understands that riding can be a relaxing, restorative hobby for vets, especially for those suffering from PTSD.
NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN! SHOW SOME LOVE FOR MILITARY VETERANS
Anyone can nominate an active military member or veteran to MISSION: THANK YOU by submitting their story of sacrifice, strength, and courage to http://missionthankyou.com. Adam will be part of the group reviewing and selecting deserving patriots for the award.
